Jane opened her own interior design company, Jane Schwartz Interiors, Ltd., in 1987 after graduating from the New York School of Interior Design. Jane is also a graduate of Pace University. She has designed and decorated an extensive number of corporate and private residences in the New York Metropolitan area, Florida and Europe. Jane's projects include townhouses in New York City as well as elegant Manhattan apartments that combine traditional interiors with an eclectic mix of great antiques and modern elements. Her country projects in Westchester and the Hamptons showcase her classic use of color, fabrics and furniture. Jane integrates the architectural details of the space with her tailored and timeless style of design. With "good design" and comfort always on her mind she actively collaborates with architects and clients.

Jane has lived in Europe where she was able to study and formulate her unique style of classic elegance. Jane is an instructor in the Interior Design Program at SUNY Purchase. She has also lectured at various events in NYC.
